SUN
The CO2-neutral energy concept is based on the sun. A PV-system, that also provides shade, generates energy from the power of the sun 365 days a year, which we store in hydrogen with the special system.
With this vision and with the SAN Enertech Farm, Erich Erber has fulfilled a childhood dream. The Research & Development Farm in Ras al Khaimah serves as a role model for agriculture and 24/7 food production in desert regions – based on circular economy with the four most important pillars: SUN, WATER, SOIL, PLANTS.

The water on the farm comes from our old wells and boreholes. Before we feed it into the irrigation system and distributed to the fields, it is cleaned and processed in a reverse osmosis system.
The soil is the home of the plants and must provide them with all the nutrients they need for growth. For this reason, we prepare it with compost, which we produce ourselves on the farm using all organic waste. Mycelium from our own mushroom cultivation also plays a key role.
Why plants thrive or fail depends on SUN, WATER and SOIL, but also on their own seeds. The better the seeds are prepared, the better the growth. Therefore the SE Farm has integrated a seed research center, including drying and encrustation.
